R100RS フルカスタム製作記 ~part5~
皆様こんにちは。
チーフメカニックの西浦です。
バイク乗りにはいい季節がやってきた！という感じですね！
今日は連載企画のフルカスタムのpart5をお届けします。
今回はシートの取付です。
Hello, Today I'd like to up full custom diary part 5!!
This time, it is about installing the seat of twin shock .
ＲＳに比べてシート高が高くなってしまうのですが、
お客様のご希望により二本サスシートを取り付けることになりました。
フィッティング中の写真です。
The twin shock seat's height is bit higher than original one.
テールとシートカウルのバランスを調整します。
Adjusting the position of between tale and seat cowl.
この部分はパテでスムージング。
シートはリトモでストックしていた純正中古品を使い綺麗に仕上げます。
This seat is original parts of 90S which we used to stock at shop.
ここが今回の一番重要なところです。
タンクとシートカウルのラインを合わせるために、まず仮組みをし、
ペイント屋さんに来てもらい子持ちライン位置の打ち合わせをしました。
タンクからシートカウルにかけてのラインが
綺麗に揃っているとのいないのでは
仕上がりに雲泥の差が・・・・
Here is the most important part.
First of all, to adjust the line of tank and seat cowl, need temporarily assembled.
Then we asked painter to come to the shop and discuss the position of the line.
The line has to be straight from tank through the seat cowl.
